Abiding Word Baptist Church

I absolutely love and adore this church. The congregation is small but they welcome you in with open arms and make you feel like you are at home with family. Pastor Theo Matthew's sermons are always so interesting and it's easy to pay attention to because he is extremely knowledgeable about God ,the KJV Bible, Jesus, life and family and any subject you might want to discuss with him.Pastor Matthew's out of the kindness of his heart helped me with my housecleaning business by creating a name ,logo and business cards and flyers for me and bringing copies to me when I needed more.He gave me the money to rent a Uhaul so that I could finally move into my room at a boarding house, he celebrated my achievements with me ,no matter how small. They take you under their wings and in no time, you will be able to give someone the gospel and win another soul to Christ ! Soulwinning was my absolute, #1 fun thing to do and I absolutely love witnessing a soul be saved ,while at times it can be discouraging ,winning just 1 soul makes it all worth it ,I get teary eyed out of joy for that soul and the thought always strikes me " I just witnessed a soul get literally saved from the fire ! " .And although I may not agree with all of a NFIB churches doctrine, like hatred of gay people, and women not being able to say " Amen " if the preaching is good .I think pastor Matthew's has said something about gay people in a sermon or 2 but it wasn't really hate speech against them. He may have read a verse about it and then said why he believed the verse. I love the KJV only as pastor Matthew's proved it was the true ,preserved word of God..or as close as it can get.I had to move away but I still consider them my church family and I faithfully watch each and every sermon ! Pastor Matthews ,if you read this, I love you and your absolutely beautiful family so very much ! I miss yall ! I miss the entire congregation Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for me ! And I continue to grow and try my best but always fail to imitate Jesus as best as I can. Thank God for his mercy and grace ! And answered prayers..I have finally found love again and I am the happiest I have been in a long time ! Things are steadily improving and getting so much better for me that sometimes I stop and think " maybe I died and I am experiencing heaven " ..lol. I reached my rock bottom I believe but with Jason's help ,I have climbed out of it.And I thank God for putting him in my lifes path.God really does work in mysterious ways ! My love to all !
