904biz.com ("904biz," "we," "us") is a local business directory for St. Johns County, Florida, operated by Attract904, Michael Barrick, St. Augustine, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who uses the site: visitors, people who submit a "Get matched" request, and business owners who claim or pay for a listing.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Get matched requests. Name, phone number, email (if provided), the service you need, and any details you type in.
• Account sign-in. Your email address. We use passwordless "magic link" login, so we never store a password. We log the time and device of each sign-in link.
• Business owner accounts. Business name, address, phone, website, hours, photos, logo, description, category, the name and email of the person managing the listing, and any consent choices you make (such as SMS, voice, or AI-assisted call consent).
• Content you post. Reviews, questions and answers, deals, events, photos, replies to reviews, and messages you send through the site.
• Payments. When you buy a Premium, Featured, Category Sponsor, or monthly plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email, plan, billing status, and the last four digits and card brand. We never see or store your full card number.
• Support. Anything you send us by email or through a contact or "remove my business" form.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP, and the date and time of visits.
• Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).

Information from other sources

• Public business data. Listings start from publicly available business information (name, address, phone, website, hours, category, and Google star rating and review snippets) gathered from Google Maps through a data provider (Outscraper). This is information businesses have already made public. Business owners can claim, correct, or request removal of their listing (Section 8).
• Stripe sends us billing events (payment succeeded, failed, canceled).

2. How we use information

• Run the directory, show listings, and let visitors find local businesses.
• Match you with businesses. When you submit a Get matched request, we send your name, phone, and request details to up to three relevant businesses so they can contact you.
• Create and manage accounts, send magic links, and confirm your identity when you claim a listing.
• Process subscriptions, send receipts, and handle renewals and cancellations.
• Draft listing descriptions using AI tools, which the business owner reviews and approves before anything goes live.
• Moderate reviews, Q&A, deals, and events, and detect spam, fraud, or abuse.
• Send service emails (receipts, sign-in links, moderation notices) and, with your permission, marketing emails.
• Measure site traffic and improve the site.
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.

3. Who we share information with

• Businesses you ask to be matched with. Up to three businesses receive your Get matched details. Once shared, those businesses handle your information under their own practices. We ask them to use it only to respond to your request, but we do not control them.
• Service providers. Companies that help us run the site: hosting, email delivery, SMS/voice delivery, analytics, AI drafting tools, and Stripe for payments. They may use your data only to provide services to us.
• Google. Ratings and review snippets shown on listings come from Google and are displayed with attribution. Use of that data is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• The public. Reviews, Q&A, deals, events, and business listing details are public by nature. Your display name appears with content you post.
• Legal. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of 904biz, our users, or others.
• Business transfer. If 904biz is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing a Get matched request with businesses at your request is not a sale.

4. Text messages and calls

Business owners may check boxes agreeing to receive text messages, voice calls, or AI-assisted calls from 904biz about their listing and services. Consent is not a condition of buying anything. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or email us. Message and data rates may apply. We keep a record of when and how you gave or withdrew consent. Visitors who submit a Get matched request agree that the matched businesses may call or text them at the number provided about that request.

5. Email and marketing

Every marketing email we send identifies 904biz as the sender, includes our postal address, and has a working unsubscribe link. Opt-outs are honored within 10 business days. You cannot opt out of essential service emails such as sign-in links and receipts while you have an account.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure traffic (for example, page views and which listings get clicks). We may use third-party analytics such as Google Analytics. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may stop working. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

7. Your choices and rights

• Access, correct, or delete. Email us at the address below to see, fix, or delete information we hold about you. We will verify your identity first.
• Marketing opt-out. Use the unsubscribe link or reply STOP.
• Close your account. Email us. Public content you posted may remain, with your name removed, unless you ask us to delete it.
• California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA you may request to know, delete, or correct your personal information and to opt out of "sales" or "sharing" for cross-context advertising. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
• Other states. Residents of states with privacy laws may have similar rights. Contact us and we will honor applicable requests.

8. Business listings: claim, correct, or remove

If a listing describes your business and you did not create it, you may claim it to correct it, or ask us to remove it by emailing remove@904biz.com (or using the "Remove my business" link on your listing page) with your business name and address. We will verify you are connected to the business and process removal within 10 business days. Please note that Google ratings and other public information will still exist on their original sources.

9. Data security and Florida law

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data we hold, including encrypted connections, access controls, and passwordless login. Under the Florida Information Protection Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.171), we take reasonable measures to protect personal information, dispose of it securely when no longer needed, and will notify affected Florida residents without unreasonable delay (and within 30 days) of a breach that affects their personal information, and notify the Florida Department of Legal Affairs when required. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data retention

We keep Get matched requests for up to 24 months, account and billing records for as long as your account is active plus 7 years for tax purposes, consent records for 5 years after consent is withdrawn, and server logs for about 12 months. Public content remains until removed under our Terms.

11. Children

904biz is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version with a new "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
