ACTive Family Physical Therapy (Ponte Vedra)

I can’t say enough good things about my experience working with Cody! I was referred to him by someone who highly recommended him, and he truly did not disappoint. From the beginning, I could tell he is incredibly knowledgeable in his field and genuinely cares about his patients. He does an amazing job of explaining what you’re doing, but more importantly, why you’re doing it, which made me feel more confident throughout the process. He knows how to push and challenge you, not only physically but mentally as well. He is also extremely easy to work with, approachable, and always makes you feel supported while still encouraging you to reach your goals. He has significantly helped with my injury, and I’ve seen the biggest difference since working with him. He is not only an excellent PT but also just a great human being overall. I’m very grateful to have worked with him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a PT!

I feel super lucky to have met Mick. My mom was actually his patient first and we talked a bit about my own issues during her visits. I started seeing him pretty quickly after that, focusing on an acute achilles tendon problem. I have a genetic connective tissue disorder which makes everything more complicated with extra precautions needed. It isn’t well known and most PTs are not knowledgable and also don’t bother doing anything extra to learn about it (which has caused me injuries in the past with other therapists). Mick was great about looking into things to make sure we were approaching everything in a safe way and I’ve trusted him ever since. I had to take a break due to other life circumstances but am now seeing him regularly for a combo of targeted treatments and personal training. I have a bunch of different goals, some quite unique, and he’s been great about listening and I feel safe with him. He’s really gone above and beyond and I’m so so grateful. I hope to be able to stick with him as my therapist and trainer for years to come.

Mick does a thorough initial evaluation to identify the root cause of your pain. After only a few sessions, my pain is greatly minimized and I enjoy running again. In addition, Mick is working on a progressive strength training plan to help me become a stronger runner and to avoid injuries in the future.

I have been going to Cody for two months.I golf, ski, light jog and workout. My goal is to maintain flexibility and strength as I age. Cody has worked with my issues to keep me flexible and pain free. My golf swing has improved and I no longer have lower back pain. I highly recommend Cody for anyone who wants to maintain an active lifestyle.
