Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery

This was a terrible experience for a first time patient. I was referred by my primary care DR. for a concerning spot. I have had skincancer and Melanoma runs in my family. The provider Ms. Sanson came in and asked why I was there. I told her. She looked at the spot and said it was normal. She proceeded to tell me what to look for. I asked her " what if I can't tell if it's skincancer and I can't see it? Like my back. She said""I just told you what to look for" She looked at my back then said " well that is not the kind of appointment I made. I made an appointment to just have that spot looked at. ( I was referred). I would think they would want a baseline on me and look at my entire body , since I have had Mohs Surgery on my face and Melanoma runs in my family!! She left the room, her assistant gave me a gown and I got ready. She came in, looked at my chest, my arms( she said I was very dry), mt legs, my back and face. She said I had a little spot on my face. I could have that removed or cream from pharmacy. I chose cream. She told me how to use it and we were done. I have never felt so rushed in my life. I feel a BASELINE should be mandatory! I feel she was NOT thorough at all . I will not go to her again.

Wow, got my first the next day. Kylie & NP Carmen were most excellent & was glad to know other clients have been treated for similar/same type of condition. Am looking forward to get meds, etc going to get condition under control. Looking forward to return visits if/when needed. Thank you for great "client treatment"!

My overall experience was excellent! Carmen was amazing during my skin check. She was thorough and personable and answered all of my questions. The nurse who took me back to the exam room and the person who checked me out were not as friendly and personable. I will definitely return because of Carmen.

I went to the Kingsley Ave location today and was very pleased with the visit. The wait times in the office and the exam room were short. I saw NP Carmen Ramirez-Boyd and she was great! I always have good experiences at this location.
