I’ve been receiving care with this group for a couple of years now, and the staff have become so much more than just the people I see for treatment. They are incredibly kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring. I’ve grown to love them like family, and they have always made me feel comfortable, welcomed, and supported. Over the years, they’ve created a place where I truly feel safe, and I think that is incredibly important when you’re receiving mental health care. I recently had my treatment at their new St. Augustine location, and I have to say, I absolutely loved it. The space is beautifully decorated and feels incredibly calming and thoughtfully designed. Everything about it seems intentional, from the atmosphere to the little details that make the experience feel peaceful and relaxing — even the super-soft rug was such a nice touch! The treatment chair is AMAZING — so comfortable that I was actually able to completely relax and get some much-needed rest during my appointment. I also really appreciated the headphones and strategically placed white-noise machine. I honestly didn’t hear a single peep from anywhere else in the office during my entire treatment. It made such a difference and allowed me to completely disconnect and relax. I know how much thought and effort goes into creating a comfortable environment for patients, and I really think they got this one right. The new location feels peaceful, welcoming, and genuinely restorative, while still having that same familiar staff and level of care that I’ve come to appreciate over the years. Thank you to the entire team for continuing to make me feel comfortable, cared for, and genuinely welcomed. I’m so happy for you all in your new St. Augustine space, and I’m looking forward to many more treatments there! ❤️
If you’re feeling a little under the weather (or just plain run-down), hop on the medical rocket ship and ascend to new atmospheres with Altitude Health at their new World Golf Village office. Fair warning: the neighborhood is a minefield for your waistline and your wallet. Between Parlor Donuts, Buc-ee’s, Costco, and Bass Pro Shops, the local risk factors for both caloric overload and impulse purchases are off the charts. Inside, the atmosphere is refreshingly casual—you’ll feel like you walked into your best friend’s living room instead of a clinical setting. The staff are true professionals, and RN Leesa Mercer is a standout. She combines a great smile with sharp clinical knowledge and a genuine focus on your overall health. Case in point: during a preoperative assessment, she flagged a potential drug interaction between one of my medications and the planned general anesthesia. She coordinated with the anesthesiologist, who adjusted the anesthetic protocol—averting what could have been a Chernobyl-level complication. She also handles specialty pharmaceuticals with impressive efficiency and precision, making the process of ordering and administering them about as painless as picking out a donut (or two) at nearby Parlor Donuts. Up front, receptionists Carly and Dani will cheerfully greet you and get your appointments on the books without the usual wait-room shuffle. Whether you’re new to the area or simply looking for highly competent, patient-centered medical care, I highly recommend Altitude Health’s newest office at World Golf Village.
I’ve been receiving ketamine treatments with Altitude Health, and one thing I especially appreciate is that they are a veteran-owned company. As a veteran myself, I’m proud to support a fellow veteran-owned business—especially one that continues that spirit of service by providing such a high level of care to the community. Their new second location is fantastic. It’s in a great, convenient area, and they’ve created an atmosphere that is calm, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing. For this type of treatment, being able to feel safe and completely at ease with your surroundings is extremely important, and they’ve done an excellent job creating that environment. The staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been professional, compassionate, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They take the time to make sure you’re comfortable, answer questions, and never make the experience feel rushed or overly clinical. I’ve always felt like I’m in very capable hands. I’m excited to see Altitude Health growing and opening this second office. Between being veteran-owned, the outstanding staff, beautiful new location, relaxing atmosphere, and quality of care, they’ve created something special.
