It is the most historic Baptist church in the country with 140 years of history. But inside, they have made it very clean and modern. They have a huge number of facilities. People are kind, and the pastors are very professional. You can learn a lot here. They also display many classical collectibles. The paintings on the wall are also fun to learn from. I really enjoy the colored window with a classic design, and the golden cross on the stage. The fountain in the front yard is also very cute. I love the ancient roof as well. They have a huge bathtub to baptise every adult, and a big changing room under it. And they just finished the road construction in front of them. Now you can see a very new road. The sanctuary is also big, classic and clean! Everyone can feel at home here.
Truly a warm, wonderful church. The people are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and there is a kind, relaxed atmosphere where you can feel at home regardless of who you are or what your background is. Although it is a Baptist church, you don’t feel like denominational differences are emphasized. People from different Christian backgrounds can feel comfortable and welcomed here. The sense of community is what really stands out. The sanctuary is beautiful, spacious, and impressive, while the bathrooms are modern and exceptionally clean. It also has a remarkable history. it began construction in 1887, and its first worship service was held in 1896. I feel like I can experience not only a rich history of faith, but also a wonderful community of people. One challenge I'm facing is the road is a little bit hard to drive because it's historical area. The parking is located across the street, just be careful when you drive. You can appreciate the history, the beautiful facilities, and the people. A truly special place to worship and feel at home. Highly recommended.
Lovely place to worship !! Inviting and friendly people with a sincere focus on the Bible. A real choir and skilled pianist/choir director enhance the spiritual atmosphere with melodic music (hint: no drums, guitars or microphones). Wonderful !
