Asbury Family Dentistry: April Stone, DMD

Sincerely I hope that the front office gets educational improvements for customer service. Poor customer service is the number one reason for loss of wages in the medical industry. First office lied about calling my insurance for verification - confirmed by the insurance company. Second I had to call from the office (from my cell phone) and obtain verification (I did the office job person). Front office did nothing but lie and argued without proof and proceeded to tell I was trespassing and that 911 was going to be called? Really? Also telling me that I was going to be self pay? After verifying my insurance in front of the office personnel? When a patient presents in pain and with a REAL reason to be there you are the face of the office. You MUST show compassion and empathy. I proceeded to go to another dentist and I got appointment same day with a HUGE difference: FRONT OFFICE knew how to do her job. Insurance was verified! Simple task that doesn’t require much effort. I don’t have an opinion about the dentist but the office management is deplorable.

I love Dr Stone and the staff! Any time I have an issue arise with my teeth they are very empathetic and get me in right away . They talk to me in a caring way and treat me like family . Dr Stone always gives treatment options and they make sure you understand everything. I had a situation with a painful tooth and needed referral . Debbie went out of her way to find me the soonest appointment with the best specialist !!!

The best dental establishment I’ve been to. They take the time to thoroughly clean my teeth and make it as comfortable as possible for me. Fantastic staff. I will not go anywhere else.

Positives: Nice people, clean office. Negatives: Not a good fit for me. It's more of a folksy environment with a lot of cross talk, music, TV, etc. I prefer a calmer, gentler practice.
