I came to Baptist & Wolfson North ER after falling at work and injuring myself. I want to start by saying that the nurses and other staff members who helped me were very nice, caring, and professional. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience with B. Tiller, MD. During my examination, he was touching an area that was already hurting from my fall. I gently touched his hand to let him know that it hurt, and his immediate response to me was, “Do you want me to examine you?” I was honestly taken aback by the response and his overall bedside manner. I was not refusing to be examined—I was simply reacting to pain and communicating that what he was doing hurt. Other staff members examined the same painful areas and were understanding and respectful when I expressed discomfort. I’m not posting this to criticize the entire ER because the rest of the staff treated me very well. I simply wanted to make someone aware of my interaction with this physician because I felt his response was rude, dismissive, and unnecessary, especially toward someone who came to the ER already injured and in pain.
I just had a minor medical issue, but was in and out in 40 minutes. I went straight to reception and then went straight to get my vitals after I was checked in. I was in my exam room in less than 10 minutes after walking in the front door. Very quick and efficient. The facility is brand new and very nice, I will definitely be going back for any future issues. Definitely a bonus that it is only about 15 minutes from home.
I was seen by Dr. Taylor DuFour during an emergency room visit on 03/16/2026. In my opinion, he ignored or minimized my main complaints instead of carefully listening and documenting them. I came in with serious concerns, including severe back pain, persistent cough, shortness of breath, COPD-related breathing symptoms, left-sided chest pain, and frightening nighttime choking episodes where I would wake up gasping for air and feeling like I could not breathe. I specifically told the doctor about these nighttime attacks more than once, but I do not believe these serious symptoms were properly addressed or documented. My visit was documented as Flu Symptoms, which I believe did not accurately reflect my actual complaints. The medical record also listed Chronic bronchitis and included COPD-related instructions, which makes the documentation as Flu Symptoms feel even more inaccurate and dismissive. I also did not receive the professional language assistance I needed to fully explain my symptoms, concerns, and disagreement with the diagnosis. Because of that, I felt unheard, dismissed, and not taken seriously. Emergency room care is extremely expensive, and patients deserve careful evaluation the first time. I am still dealing with the consequences and continue to see other doctors for care. In my opinion, this was poor communication, poor documentation, and unacceptable care. I have filed formal complaints with the appropriate agencies.
I’ve always been pleased with the friendly demeanor of the staff. For me to say this is big for me.Normally I don’t find this at places I go.It seems most of the time I run into people that just ruin your day.
I like the staff it was very professional friendly. My daughter is very patient He listened, and the facility is close to my home
