CareSpot Urgent Care of Jacksonville Beach & Hodges

Called to ask directions and Tammy was upset, rude and unkind on the phone. She was annoyed that I called and asked where this place was. Once inside she was unfriendly and unwelcoming. I walked in and gave her my hiring paper work from my potential employer and she was like “I’m working on someone else’s file I’ll be with you later” unbelievable. Couldn’t even say hello. She needs to work in the back stocking and not near a phone or patients. She was a Heavy set black lady with reddish black hair, black glasses, gold earrings, black sweater jacket black side burns. Photo below is of her looking “busy” with no patients in waiting room except for me.

I had a great experience. Check in was super easy with the phone. I would highly recommend the facility. Didn’t have Tammy, the woman mentioned in earlier reviews. Was a younger woman and very professional and kind. That really impressed me cause I look for that wherever I go, but hardly find it. They were quite busy, but got called back relatively quick. I noticed only two people working, and asked where everyone was at? I was told there were only the two of them there, plus an x-ray tech. Might want to consider getting them one more person to help out so as not to burn out those two! 😂 I know what it’s like to run on a skeleton crew and see the good ones leave! Might want to keep those great workers! They were so crazy busy and still very professional.

It was easy to get on the online waitlist. The front staff were friendly. Did not have to wait long once I arrived at my allotted time. The doctor was great. It was also great that they had medication on hand so I did not have to go to my pharmacy. Overall an excellent experience

Other than making your customers fill out forms taking time away from their lives, and upload fronts and backs of all insurance cards, driver’s licenses, etc, which is just getting to be too much— my experience was very convenient with nice staff, and happy to be treated by real doctors there too! I’ve been a couple of times and it’s awesome to have the option. It’s hard to get appointments with our own doctors. They’re probably overwhelmed with stupid, repetitive, computer work too from what I’ve heard and barely have time to see their kids much less more patients. So I’m glad you’re available! But if it’s not too much to ask, please have your employees take 5-10 seconds to scan the IDs in, rather than try to get patients to do their jobs. Thank you!!
