CareSpot Urgent Care of Middleburg

Everyone on staff was compassionate and quick. I was in and out within an hour in a Sunday afternoon. The nurse practitioner went over all my questions and I left confident in my care plan. The nurse was kind and took great care of me even with my fear of needles. I will absolutely return to this location should I ever need urgent care again in the future.

I've had to make appointments over the last 5 years at CareSpot when I couldn't get in to see my primary doctor. CareSpot has been great with my care. I appreciate we have a facility to go to when no other options are available.

Bottom line: I was in significant pain; there was a readily available pill specifically intended to reduce that pain; my clinician knew about it; she didn’t tell me about it; and when I later asked why, the explanation was simply that it was OTC Context: I went here because I was in pain. I explained my symptoms and a culture was sent to the lab which I was told could take 5 days. I called on day 2 and 3 in the hopes it might have arrived early. I was assured that someone would call me when it did. At day 4, the pain was still high, so I went to another urgent care. They educated me and prescribed me a pill for the pain. Urgent Care of Middleburg did not mention anything or prescribe anything for the pain! I called today after receiving the results of my culture from the lab, by email - no call from provider. I asked about the pain pill. I was told I was not told or prescribed it because it was over the counter. I asked if not mentioning a pain pill like this was acceptable care for someone in pain. I was told yes- because it was over the counter. How was I supposed to know that? I told the woman on the phone that I find that unacceptable care and will never come back. She said, “Fine Erica. Don’t come back then.” I would absolutely never recommend this place to anyone for anything. I’m in absolute shock about this entire experience.

Went in for congestion in my lungs. They got me in on schedule the staff was friendly and professional. Submitted my prescription which I was able to pick the same day. I’m feeling better after a couple of days.
