Yes was my first charter fishing boat. The staff was so good in handling every need on the boat. Making sure we had bait, if any issues with rods, questions, and cleaned our fish with great care. So happy I came.
Boat & Marine
205 West Davis Industrial Drive, St. Augustine
This marina is perfectly located 1.5 miles from St Augustine with what looks to be easy access to the fuel and water dock. However, they keep a trawler parked mid-dock and if you're in a 40 foot sailboat it's very difficult to maneuver to the fuel pumps. They must realize this, so I can only conclude they do not want larger boats as customers (something it would've been nice to know ahead of time). It's simply more trouble than it it's worth. So if you're in a little boat, this is a good place to fuel up. If you're in a larger sailboat, save yourself the hassle and just get fuel at St Augustine.
Stopped for fuel, Great dock hand. Clean facility, restaurant & Fast pumps!
Almost a 65% increase in price this year. I was paying $458 per month last year and now they want me to pay over $700 per month. They will try to tell you that their price is on par with others. I can ensure you it’s not! Dock master is a grumpy person. They rush you off your boat as soon as you get back, even when it’s not that busy. Would strongly suggest you look else where if you are thinking about storing your boat here. You can only work on your boat on the week days. Certain work has to go through “their mechanic” to have work done. Only problem is “their mechanic” is very unresponsive. I tried a few times to get him to do work with no success. Don’t let them fool you, they aren’t the only game in town!
I have kept my boat for many years and I have had great service during that time. My boat has been safe and secure and out of the weather. Hurricane Mathew had no effect on the boat storage facility. All of the boats were safe and sound. I am not aware of any security problems there. The staff are very helpful and assist you. The marina has a partnership with Wayland Bay Marine for any mechanical problems that you may incur e.
