The atmosphere is very warm and beautiful lighting. Every employee had a genuine smile and Attitude about them selves. It’s an inside and outside restaurant with decent amount of seating. Ceiling fans outside to keep it cool and 2 tv inside. The server recommended a smash burger or flat bread. I got the flat bread Philly for 24 dollars and it was well worth it. Bread was a nice crisp crunch and toppings was evenly spread out. The employees kept an eye out on customers from a distance without making it obvious without coming up to your table when you have a mouth full. I love that about this place. Fully recommended. On a side note my server Andrew gave me a bit of history of the new restaurant and kinda chit chat with me. Very nice guy
We recently visited because we wanted to find a local cidery while visiting St. Augustine and we loved Cidersmith! Immediately, the hostess (I didn't catch her name but she was so helpful!) asked if we wanted to do cider tasting. We hadn't thought about that and she encouraged us and noted that there are between 8-10 ciders on tap from Cidersmith, and that 2 flavors are free to try but you can try all of them for $5 per person. We did the tasting and so glad we did, they were all great. I think the usual bartender wasn't there, so we were served by the manager, Bryan, who was informative and declined to take a tip, requesting we give it to our server once we ate. Then we got a table, there were options outside in a shady, private area with fans or indoor seating (for those who don't want to sit outside in the FL heat). The music was perfect, decorations were nice, and seating felt comfortable and adequately spread-out. Our server Greg was so personable and attentive, and even recognized us when we came back the next day. My husband got wings and he felt they were some of the best he has had ever! I got the goat cheese-fig jam burger which was excellent. It was tough to decide between that and the variety of mac and cheese's, flatbreads, and waffle fries! My burger also came with waffle fries, a couple of onion rings AND some fried pickles, so I felt I got a lot for my money and got to try a lot of things. My husband tried one of the cider-floats (vanilla ice cream with strawberry-key lime cider) and loved it. We went back the next day to get drinks again and bartender Taylor was very personable and professional. Highly recommend and I hope they do well so we can come back into town sometime and visit again!
Cidersmith is a great addition to the St. Augustine food scene. Located on St. George Street just a few doors down from the Oldest Wooden School House, it’s the perfect place to stop while exploring the historic district. Executive Chef Chris is incredibly talented and also one of the most personable chefs you’ll meet. The owners are well respected in the St. Augustine restaurant community, and it really shows in the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere. Their flatbreads are a must-try, and the lobster mac and cheese I had on a previous visit was outstanding. Tonight I ordered the black and blue waffle fries topped with cheese, bacon, and blue cheese crumbles and added their crispy pepperoni bites which took the dish to a whole new level. If you’re looking for great food and craft cider in historic St. Augustine, Cidersmith is definitely worth a visit
The food was good, cheese curds were so-so, kinda small. The Bavarian pretzel was awesome! The flight was nice. Was told $5, the menu said $8-$9.50 and we were charged $13…it was still worth the price though. Pina colada was our favorite!
Cidersmith was an absolutely awesome experience from start to finish! The cider selection alone is worth the visit—we tried around 10 different ciders, including sour apple, dry apple, booberry, strawberry key lime, and peppermint patty. Every single one was unique and flavorful. I even went all in and tried a cider float made with the peppermint patty cider and vanilla ice cream, and wow… total winning combination. Dessert and drink in one! The food was just as impressive. The menu has something for everyone, and everything we tried was delicious. We had taco waffle fries, wings, a chipotle chicken flatbread, and a lobster macaroni and cheese that was rich and comforting. The standout, though, was the charcuterie board served inside a large, warm pretzel—such a creative and tasty touch. Between the incredible cider variety, creative food, and fun atmosphere, Cidersmith is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back and try even more!
