Very nice quality movie theater with so many options from concessions to seating options. My husband and I went to see Mortal Kombat 2 in standard format and purchased the D-Box interactive seats which were so much fun! We were warmly greeted when we arrived as well as when we departed and the restrooms and theater were very well maintained. We are visiting from Ohio but will definitely be back on our next trip to the area.
I love this theater! We drive 45 minutes to go here! The theater is clean, the seats are well maintained, with reclining and heating features. The bathrooms are always clean, and there are tons of choices around the theater to eat before or after the show. It’s a beautiful area, this is one of our favorites!
Clean place. Nice chairs.....warm food. Theater had a nice cocktail option....7$ for a 24oz for high noon at publicplace is pretty good
The Ultimate Movie Upgrade at Cinemark Durbin Park If you are catching a major blockbuster at the Cinemark in Durbin Park, do yourself a favor and upgrade to the D-BOX motion seats. Yes, the tickets are noticeably more expensive than the standard luxury loungers, but for the right movie, the premium price tag is absolutely worth the splurge. The D-BOX Experience These aren't just "vibrating seats"—they actually move, pitch, and roll in perfect sync with the action on the screen. You can control the intensity of the movement right from the armrest, so if you want to feel every explosion and car chase, you can crank it up, or dial it back for a more subtle immersion. It completely elevates the experience of an action or sci-fi film. Comfort and Atmosphere Beyond the motion tech, the seats themselves are incredibly comfortable and spacious. The D-BOX seating is strategically positioned in the premium rows, guaranteeing you the absolute best viewing angle in the auditorium. The St. Johns location as a whole is always well-maintained, and the self-serve ticket kiosks and Studio Eats food setup make getting to your seat a breeze. The Verdict Taking all four kids to a D-BOX screening is definitely a pricey outing, so we typically reserve these specific seats for highly anticipated event movies or a fun, kid-free date night. But when you want to feel like you're actually in the movie rather than just watching it, this theater delivers. 5/5 stars!
I have been to this theater before and it is usually fairly clean for a theater but this time was different. The seats and tables had crumbs and spilt drinks on them. Then I went to use the restroom and EVERY stall was extremely dirty. One with wet toilet paper all over the seat, one with water/urine all over the floor in front of the toilet, one with popcorn and an empty cup on the floor, and the last one was locked with no one inside. Plus there was garbage and food all over the floor. To top it off an employee was in there and she seemed to care less. I know people don’t care anymore but this experience was extremely disappointing and I won’t be back.
