The perfect spot to put in a canoe or kayak. Heading under the bridge towards St John’s River offers a pleasant paddling experience with only a few obstacles to get through. Be aware of water levels during your trip. This creek can change depth up to a foot, so you may need to pull yourself over a few fallen trees.
One of my favorite places to paddle in protected waterways. There are no bathrooms but the drive is maintained by St John’s County Parks and Rec.
I had a great paddle out to the arrow tree. So named because someone in the past shot an arrow high up in this tree.
We launched from deep creek lanch on our kayak adventure with Mac and #kayakstaugustine. Great location to kayak. Very quiet and peaceful. Easy access
Great option for launching the kayaks. Alot of tree debris along the waterway, use caution. I generally go after a rain to avoid the logs.
