Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Jacksonville Beach

The location is excellent, which is definitely a plus. I also appreciated that they ultimately allowed me to check in early. However, the process was more difficult than expected—I called and didn’t get an answer for several minutes, and the app didn’t offer any option for early check-in or late check-out. When I finally spoke with the front desk, I was immediately told they were completely full, which made the interaction feel dismissive rather than helpful. The room itself was very basic and didn’t match the price point. For nearly $300, I expected a higher level of quality and attention to detail. The tub had noticeable rough stains, which was disappointing, and the bathroom amenities were minimal—just standard lotion and soap. Overall, the experience didn’t meet expectations, and while the location is a strong point, customer service and overall value need improvement. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The staff was super friendly, room/bathroom/pool was welcoming and clean, and breakfast was cozy and satisfying. You can tell it will be a nice stay from the moment you enter the lobby and talk to the front desk. There is also a 24/7 fitness room that I was tempted to use. Hot tub was surely hot! Could have definitely used a bigger fridge and more counter space near it, but it would usually suffice for 2 people staying 1 night. TVs didn't work with HDMI - hopefully fixed soon. Very good beach access, but no good way to rinse sand off your feet. All considered, the friendliness of the staff heavily outweighs all issues.

The upgrades the company made to this hotel 🏨 is amazing. Great location also. Staff members are very friendly and sweet. Parking 🅿️ is only $12 but you can always find a spot outside the hotel for FREE! 😊 -Lafayette Dawkins

Recently renovated? Rooms were small and dated. They were clean though. The breakfast was not close to the typical Fairfield. Adequate for a couple of nights. Ill choose elsewhere for my next stay
