I was in the mood for some sushi, so I stopped by Fushimi Sushi. It is a quaint little place hidden on the "loop" rode just past Home Depot in Middleburg. It was quiet when I arrived. The service was great. I made a take out order of four types of cooked rolls. The waiter told me it would be about 15 minutes. Since I had my dog in the car I told him I would be out in my vehicle and would come back in in 15 minutes. I sat in my car listening to a podcast and just as I was about to go back in, the waiter came out with my order. Talking about excellent service. I was very impressed that he went the extra mile to make sure I got my food in a timely matter. I went home to eat and unlike most quick eat places, they had included everything I needed to enjoy my sushi. The rolls were expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. I will return soon and if you are in the area it is definitely a great place to sit and eat or grab take out.
This is a hidden gem! The food is outstanding! Steak and chicken hibachi as well as the scallops and chicken hibachi were delicious! The steak was actually large pieces, very plump and juicy rather than most places that make it very dry and little shreds. I was very impressed and that was just take out! I will definitely be back!
Ordered $107 worth of food. Wife wanted crap meat on top of the two rolls which was $10 extra total for the two. Couldn’t add it online so I had to pay when I got to the store. Kind of steep but no biggie. Grabbed an Asahi bottle for when I got home while I was there. Got it home and noticed the 3 rolls we ordered were in one container. No big deal. What did bother me was that they didn’t give us wasabi and ginger. I’m getting up charged so I expect everything I paid for. Taste wise it was good. I did like the variety they have. May just make the drive to Midori in Orange Park as it’s the best in Clay IMO.
Delicious food, amazing owners, great service. One of the best options around if you want a very clean environment, awesome food with high quality choices and a very attentive staff. Hands down the best
A must place to eat. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The wait staff quite attentive and polite. Received a free appetizer sample. Great value with the amount of food. Even the kids meal was more than enough as it came with either soup or salad-ordered the steak and came with fried rice and veggies. The other meals were teriyaki steak and teriyaki chicken, both came with rice, soup and salad. Also don't forget the great appetizer they offer as well a variety of sushi.
