Gator Plumbing was recommended to me by a friend. I am so glad I went with their service. The owner AJ is a great, trustworthy man that “shoots you straight.” I know when it comes to plumbing, there are many companies out there that will try to rip you off for any dollar possible. I had two other estimates besides Gator Plumbing, and the other two were WAY higher than Gator Plumbing and I was told remedies that were not needed with a much higher cost. Robert and William were very professional and did exceptional work. I would highly recommend Gator Plumbing to anybody that needs plumbing repairs.
I struggled as to if I should leave a good comment, because I don't want him too busy in case I need to call him again! AJ and crew are top notch, plumbers and super nice, down-to-Earth folks. Reasonable fees. Was here exactly when he said he would be.
AJ came out today to replace a Rheem hot water heater under warranty. He made time for us today during a busy schedule and we really appreciate it! My wife is taking hot showers again and I'm out if the hot seat! Thanks AJ!
Used their plumbing services for years and always had good service, so I'm not sure what's happened. I left a message for them over a weekend, asking them to help us with a broken flush valve. I received a text the following Monday that they would try to be out that day, but otherwise Tuesday. I didn't hear any more from them, so Tuesday morning I texted to confirm if they were still coming. I received just "Y" as a response, no time frame or any other information. They showed up unannounced at my door that afternoon. They agreed the flush valve was broken and told me it's a rare part that only one store in Jacksonville carries and would be expensive. They said they'd pick up the part on Wednesday and give me a call when they had it. No word from them Wednesday, so late Thursday afternoon I figured they were having trouble finding the part. I looked it up myself. It was available for order at Lowe's and was only $15! I texted them for an update, telling them if they couldn't find the part, I could order it for them and then schedule a time for them to install it. I received a response back that they had the part and had texted me Wednesday, but I didn't respond to them. I double checked my phone, but there was no text. I responded that I didn't receive the text, please call me when you can. A full week has gone by with no call or text. We ended up ordering the part and having a friend help us fix it. I don't understand the lack of communication and unprofessionalism, and unfortunately it cost them a loyal customer.
AJ and his team repiped my house last year and this year came back to fix a few things. Both experiences were great.
