This experience highlighted a clear difference in how practices handle new patients, and I won't be returning to the first office. Communication and transparency matter, especially when patients are investing time and travel. I made an appointment for a CLEANING. I was a first time patient, after driving over 1 hour, I arrive just for them to tell me that I have to do exams and xrays first then come back another day for the cleaning. That’s not what I made my appointment for, I called and asked specifically for a cleaning. I understand as a new patient they need exams and xrays, but to not tell me over the phone that I can’t do both during the same visit is bad business. I got up left after not receiving any services. No way I was going to drive 1 hour again for something I book first, my cleaning. And for them to tell me, this is standard procedure is a lie, two days later I visited another office; got my exam, X-rays, and cleaning all done in one sitting.

Horrible communication. I recently scheduled an emergency appointment for a crown recommended by another great expressions. I tried contacting this location all through out the day and left two voicemails I never even spoke to anyone just an automated message saying they would call me back and that they were assisting other customers I started calling at 11am. I was trying to contact this location to see if they could even do a crown at this location last minute or if it would just be a consultation because I will not have dental insurance at the end of the month and I will be going back to school next week. If you want someone to answer your questions or call you back good luck would not recommend this location.
First visit -- great experience! Dentist, hygienist and front office staff could not have been nicer. All were competent, knowledgeable and skilled. I will be returning!
Made an appointment a month or so ago, scheduled to take an hour off work for the latest appointment they offered. The day of the apt they call me, don’t leave a message, I call back 10 mins later with no answer. Call again 3 hours later, no answer so left my name number and scheduled apt time. Called them as I was leaving work 2 hours after the 2nd time I called and he said my apt was cancelled due to dentist going on maternity leave. Waste of my time.
The PvB location - Great staff, very comfortable & professional. Took my cue on pace and explained everything clearly. Top notch service! Update - June 2026: Got my biannual cleaning at PVB and have to give a shoutout to the best hygienist I’ve ever had! Ms Crystal took the time to really get in on some problem spots, super gentle, great bedside manners. Excellent cleaning!
