Gus And Company Shoe and Luggage Repair

Due to a sky diving accident many years ago, my mother, who is now 88, needs her right shoe built up 1/2 inch. We have had several shoes built up over the last few years and the work done at Gus‘s is amazing. The quality and craftsmanship is worth the admittedly expensive price. Even after years of wear the build up is as good as it was the first day. She lived in another city before moving here and the work done here is far superior to earlier work elsewhere. Highly recommend if quality and durability are important to you.

I got a logo covered up on my backpack for $15. I went here because I wanted a professional to do it, but the job honestly doesn't reflect that in my opinion. The patch is misaligned, which looks sloppy and makes me wish I would have just done it myself. I also had some tears on the side of the bag repaired, but after looking at the work, I don't think $60 for that was a good value. With an $86 total (including the logo cover-up and tax), I can't say I'm satisfied with the work simply because of the quality.

For medical reasons, I needed a lift installed in my Birkenstock sandals. I was hesitant to try someone new after my previous cobbler retired, especially because of the price of the sandals. Gus and Company did a FINE job adding the lift (see photos). The job is so neat and clean and the coloration and material matches so closely. Since then, Gus and Company have adjusted the heels on 4 other pairs of shoes and are currently repairing my leather slip-on shoes. I HIGHLY recommend Gus and Company for all your shoe-repair needs.

Took a purse in the at the fastener broke off the strap. They were able to fix it as closely as possible and it looks great and is holding up
