Alex is wonderful! He treated my right ankle after my ankle replacement and I am walking in my heels again! He is now working on my back pain and it is a lot better! He creates a happy not boring atmosphere, so I look forward to each session!!
Frustrated by slow healing of the pain and inflammation in my foot and ankle, I went to H2 Health as recommended by my Primary Care Doctor for physical therapy. That was a great recommendation. Alex, the therapist, went through a variety of exercises and stretches while at the same time explaining thoroughly why I was having problems and the therapy needed to resolve my issue. He is very knowledgeable and professional. The results were quick in achieving less pain and more flexibility but the return to normalcy is gradual because of my advanced age. His assistance and expertise is appreciated greatly. I would highly recommend Alex for your physical therapy needs.
The best! Wish I hd gone to them as a first choice. I had a total knee replacement, and at first I opted for in home Physical Therapy. What a waste, after six visits all I got of it was how to use a cane and a pamphlet on exercises I needed to do. Therapist spend more time on cell phone, and would leave in 30 mins. After surgery follow-up with Doctor, I expressed my concern over almost no results. I saw where H2 Health had good reviews and requested them, it was the best decision for me. Alex Buser, at H2 Health is great. When I went in they already had my medical file and a program to get me back to able to a quality of life better than I had before surgery. I highly recommend H2 Health, and recommend Alex as your Therapist.
Everyone was very nice. My therapist Luz was the best. she really showed that she cared and made me work hard on what I needed in order to be moving correctly again. She was compassionate and always had a cheerful misdemeanor. I sometimes would go at the end of the day, exhausted from a work day but she made me feel energized and ready to do what we needed to do. She is an asset!!!!
This is the second time I've been to H2 (for the same set of injuries). My injury was 4/26/25, incurred at work with JFRD while lifting a patient from our stretcher to the ED stretcher. It was a simple move I've literally made tens of thousands of times over 25 years, but this time it was catastrophic. The staff at H2 recognized that after my initial first few treatment sessions- something major was underlying. They insisted on my Adjustor and MD order imaging to rule out career ending injuries. Three MRIs later (because Workers Comp Adjustors have ZERO functioning brain cells, nor do they have any medical training to fall back upon), it was noted that I have torn my rotator cuff and labrum (both more than 70% thickness years), damaged my shoulder capsule itself, and then had bone to bone impingement of my clavicle. If all of that wasn't enough, we then found multiple cervical disk herniations, indentations directly into the spinal cord itself. At that point, my previous PT (Scott & assistant Megan) opined that they did not feel I was an appropriate PT candidate, I needed referrals to surgeons prior to proceeding with more PT... that kind of integrity and knowing "when to treat" is just as important as "should we treat this patient, as she presents here and today, or should we wait" is just as important at the surgeon deciding to pick up the scalpel and making an incision. A lot of other PT clinics would have maximized the authorized number of treatments prior to admitting PT was not clinically warranted at the juncture. Needless to say, I got to ride the WC carnival ride (more quack docs looking to only give injections vs actually attempting to repair majority thickness tears of muscles & ligaments) for a few more months, prior to surgery eventually being authorized. I was able to negotiate being able to return to H2. My Adjustors weren't happy, but I argued H2 was the group would put hands on me, and knew the initial round of PT was not appropriate. I trusted them, and still do. I've just returned to H2 this last two weeks. I'm now three weeks post op on rotator cuff with graft repair, labral stabilization, bicep tendonesis, and clavicle resection with takedown of 6mm of bone. For funsies, the surgeon also did bursitis clean out of the capsule itself too. When I started PT, I was barely able to tolerate movement at all. Today, I'm happy to say I'm at 30% range of motion Alex (new PT who took over Fleming Island when Scott and Megan went to another location) is amazing- knows just how much to push, when to encourage, and when to tell you "enough for today, we can do more tomorrow". Amanda (receptionist) is accommodating with scheduling and tries her best to make everything feasible. Maddie (PT assistant) is bubbly and happy and helps you forget how unpleasant PT can actually be at times. I have 48 visits for my shoulder, plus 12 for my neck to go. I'm happy to have found H2, especially considering I'll be with them for the next 6 weeks (5 days per week), and then for 3xs per week for another 10 weeks after that. I hate broadcasting how much I love this place- it's truly a hidden gem in the world of PT Clinics- I don't want it to be overrun. But in all seriousness- they deserve all the accolades and attaboys and good words. ❤️
