An ER visit was not on my bingo card for the 4th of July while visiting here. The, quick response, personal attention and empathetic care I received at this facility made for an excellent experience. Dr. Steven Blake was very thorough and caring. He was quick to rule out what wasn't at issue, which has not been my experience in other ERs. Once an initial diagnosis was made he explained my options clearly. My only less than positive comment would be the lack of an ultrasound for diagnostic purposes. While the CT scan found the issue that brought me in, it also misdiagnosed another issue that is physically impossible for me to have. An ultrasound exam would have provided a more detailed view. Now I have to undergo further exams to prove this condition doesn't exist and get it off my medical records. This wonderful ER could serve more fully if it was properly equipped.
I brought my 8 yr old son to this emergency room today because he was experiencing neck pain, and I cannot thank the entire team enough for how wonderfully they treated us. From the front desk staff to the nurses, X-ray technician, and doctor, everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and caring. They listened to my concerns, took my son’s pain seriously, and made him feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire visit. The whole process was so easy, smooth, and well organized. As a worried mother, I truly appreciated how quickly they evaluated him and took him for X-rays. Everyone we interacted with made a stressful situation much easier for both of us. Thank you to the entire team who cared for my 8 yr old son today. Your kindness and professionalism meant more to me than you know. I truly appreciate every one of you and would absolutely recommend this emergency room.
Great experience. We brought my fiancé in for a severe ear infection. We were in and out in about an hour. Everyone there had great bedside manner and they truly seem to care about helping people get back to feeling normal.
Just like most dr offices they have no intention of helping you they only see you as a $ visit!!! Kelly, one of the nurses, told me oh well when I said my meds that I desperately need from unbearable pain was sent to wrong place!! Disgusting they dont care about people suffering!! Definitely do not recommend ‼️ Id rather just die at home than think I will get treated with a shred of respect & dignity at Memorial!! They are liars & unethical!!!!
I was very sick and my husand found this location on line. I was so pleased with my experience. I was being treated within five minutes of walking in the door. Dr. Blake was so kind and gentle and genuinely concerned about my well-being. The nurses took exceptional care of me. The facility is clean and comfortable. I would 100% recommend using HCA Julington Emergency Care if you or your family needs emergency intervention.
