I am very disappointed with the customer service at the Middleburg Home Depot. I visited the store regarding an unused tool purchased only a few months ago under my Pro Xtra account. The item was opened but never used, in new condition, and complete with all original parts. Despite this, management refused to work with me or offer any reasonable solution. What was most disappointing was not the decision itself, but the lack of willingness to help a loyal customer. The managers showed no flexibility, no interest in reviewing the situation, and no effort to provide an alternative such as store credit. Customer service should be about helping customers and finding reasonable solutions when possible. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at this store. The item cost only $129, yet even for such a small amount, there was no effort to resolve the issue. Based on this experience, I will be reconsidering where I make future purchases and may choose competitors that place a higher value on customer relationships and service.
