I almost don't want to leave this review because I want to gatekeep how awesome this place is. We only stayed one night but wished we could stay longer - the room was super spacious and comfortable, everything was clean and well maintained, we loved having the smart TV, and the patio with the parking right there was a huge plus for us. I'd love to be back and would 100% recommend to anyone.
We stayed in Room 28 and I can only speak for our experience there. The view was absolutely stunning — we had a private balcony overlooking the yachts, the port, and the yacht club. Woke up to that every morning and it never got old. The room had 2 separate rooms, which was really convenient when one of us went to bed early or got up before the other. The hotel itself is fairly old, but we got lucky with our room. Everything was clean, comfortable, and worked well. There is major construction going on nearby. It didn’t bother us in Room 28, but I can imagine other rooms might get noise. If you book, I’d specifically request a room away from the construction side. Overall, we had a great stay thanks to the view and layout. 4 stars because of the building’s age and the construction risk for some rooms.
We had a fantastic stay in room 29 at this inn! Clean, large, quiet, a functional kitchenette, a comfy king bed, and two patios with wonderful views of either the big bridge or the boats in the harbor. The price was right- even was dog friendly! A quick drive to the fort and old town. We'll stay here again next trip to St Augustine!.
Seriously the cutest little place. Check in was easy, room was clean and cool. The balcony overlooking the marina was perfect and a relaxing place to end our evening watching the boats come in & start our mornings watching them go out. We saw a manatee and a couple of turtles right from the balcony as well. There is an outstanding little breakfast place right in the parking lot which was very convenient. Speaking of convenience, there is also a boat tour right in the parking lot as well out of the marina, they took us out and we saw so many dolphins. The beach is less than a 5 min drive one way & old st Augustine tourist attractions are all within 10 mins the other way. It’s a wonderful location to say the least! As of right now there is construction going on nearby that seemed to start pretty early in the morning & was quite loud at times -at no fault of the hotel of course but it didn’t really bother us as were early risers anyway- Definitely recommend giving this place a try!
Terrible- misrepresentation on the website. We got there after a ten hour drive and the lick code didn’t work. After a good 20 minutes of trying it out between my husband and I and another guest we called management. They were not on the grounds and said it would take 2 1/2 hours to arrive. By that time I decided to walk around tge “harbor” side of the building but it is in construction. Since my husband wasn’t feeling well we needed to go somewhere else for the night. We asked for a refund but they refused and said the codes were working. That is a lie. Don’t go. There are many other less expensive, cleaner and less trashy places than this so - called Yacht club. It’s hard when you save your money for a trip and this is the result.
