We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with James for our October 2025 wedding! He did an incredible job from our first time chatting all the way to delivering the full gallery. The day of, his easy going personality made him blend seamlessly into our day and his professionalism kept us on track. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful! The perfect mix of classic portraits and candid in the moment shots that really captured the feel of the day. We especially loved the film photography, it added such a timeless, nostalgic touch. The few photos I included here only offer a small glimpse of the variety in our full gallery. We received everything we hoped for and so much more! We couldn’t recommend him more!

James was our photographer for our wedding in Charleston in October 2024. He was amazing from start to finish! He really listened to what I was hoping for, and the photos turned out better than I could have imagined. So many great candid shots that really captured the vibe of the day and everyone’s personalities. He was super easy to work with, made everyone feel comfortable, and somehow managed to be everywhere without ever being in the way. Just genuinely kind and so talented. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone who just gets it and delivers beautiful, natural photos!
James was absolutely amazing for our wedding (and with our engagement photos)! He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, was timely with photos, and responsive when I had (many) questions during the planning process! James was simply the BEST photographer for our engagement and wedding photos. We cannot recommend him enough!!! From the very beginning of our planning process and on, James was attentive to all of our many questions, timeline details, and location requests. He was professional, patient, adaptable and so fun to work with! Not only does James have a great eye for gorgeous photo composition and cool lighting, he also exudes a chill yet on-top-of-things vibe which is the ideal mix on your wedding day. We never felt rushed or stressed, the photos just flowed seamlessly throughout the day. He caught so many sweet authentic moments on camera and struck the perfect balance of staged portraits with genuine candids. Also, we got married on October 1st in Charleston, the day after Hurricane Ian came through. We really had no idea what to expect with our photos, but James totally rolled with it and figured out the perfect places for us to take our photos without having to deal with mud from flooding the previous day. We are SO happy with how our photos turned out and the whole process. Book James for your wedding ASAP!! You will be so glad.
