Johnny's Bar-B-Q & Catering

Solo trip, seated immediately and brought a drink, sweet tea and given menu. 10 minutes later a waitress finally arrived, stating she didn't know I was there and apologized. I gave my order, a pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato lunch special. Within 3 minutes my food was slid across the table by a laughing waitress exclaiming how quick she got my food out. Well the potato was delish but eaten plain as was served with a butter spread I had never heard of . The sandwich bun was cold and the pulled pork well they were not generous to say the least. The waitress walked up saying how's your food delish right, as she was turning to leave, not wanting to hear my response I assume . I will not be returning nor do I recommend!!! The resteraunt had 5 tables besides me so not busy, no party going on no nothing so no excuse for a waitress not monitoring her station. I had to grab another waitress to get my bill on top of the other issues.. I don't like giving these reviews and usually would see the manager for all of the issues while I was there, I was so disappointed I just didn't want to hear an excuse or apology, I just wanted out . I did not look at the prior reviews before I went here and sadly I wish I had so lesson for me, don't just post reviews, READ them !! Beware of these issues before you go

This is the so called " jumbo" pulled pork sandwich that I ordered and received from Johnny's tonight Friday July 17th not only is this just the sadest looking amount of meat I've ever seen on a supposed jumbo sandwich it was not very warm when I picked it up or the burger but that giant chunk of black you see was so hard and dry to the touch 🤮. My family stopped eating from Johnny's I would say probably like 6 plus years ago for this exact reason their prices went up and their food quality went way down and apparently that hasn't changed all these years later. yes, I brought it to their attention and even brought the sandwich back and I returned it and got my money back. The manager said absolutely nothing to me the whole time at all except for "here's the receipt showing you that I refunded it". I gave at least three stars for service because the cashier Mary and the other young lady helping her long curly hair was very polite and understanding of why I was upset. I mean in this economy I know times are hard for everybody including businesses but to charge somebody $9 for this supposed sadlooking dry " jumbo" pulled pork sandwich , which doesn't even come with fries for that price cuz none of their sandwiches come with a side.. unless you want to add fries on for almost $4 is absolutely ridiculous. I was hoping things had changed over the years but I was quickly reminded why we had avoided that place for so many years.

Food was great, would have been 5 stars but they served me some vegan “buttery” spread for my sweet potato, it does not taste good. I expect some good ole fattening butter for my food.

Disappointed..stopped for take out. Ordered wings and there was no crisp to them at all, rubbery skin. Asked to make them wet and they weren't. Ordered ribs and fries. Ribs were good but fries had no crispness to them just soggy. Also no bbq sauce for the ribs and I asked if it comes with bbq sauce and was told yes.
