Mandarin Museum and Historical Society

This was a very surprising and worthwhile stop. It's a 4 room museum with a very nice historical records of the Mandarin Florida area. The grounds are very pretty and it's a short walk to a pier over the river (or bay). There are guided tours of several other buildings that we didn't have the time to attend; hopefully, on another day. There are also scheduled events that would be nice for families. There was no charge for the museum and a nominal charge of $7 for guided tours. (I'm not sure what special events might cost). You could spend and hour, or half a day here and be equally pleased.

Absolutely beautiful hidden landmark loaded with our city's amazing history. Our docent was so informative & museum well worth a visit. True Florida landscape through out park & well maintained.

Taking place every Easter weekend, this event is a must attend for the $2 donation. We enjoyed the variety of art genres represented. The green area had many food-type vendors selling hot sauce, dips, snacks, and more. There was also a section with a variety of food trucks and a large, covered seating area to door and eat and live entertainment throughout the day. Blessings!
