Heart-stoppingly good. No, seriously — I could feel my arteries clogging… and I didn’t mind one bit. Now I finally get what people mean when they say, “Well, at least he died happy.” I ordered The Dime (biscuits and gravy with fried chicken), and it was next-level. Comfort food perfection. Rich, savory, indulgent — basically the culinary equivalent of soft-core food porn. Even the fresh-squeezed OJ was amazing. Apparently, October oranges hit different, and my taste buds agree. The only sad part? My family’s off in Italy, and they have no idea what they’re missing. Maple Street over Milan any day. If this was my last meal on earth, I’d go out smiling.
My experience was amazing! I was immediately greeted the moment I walked in. The customer service was pleasant and kind, answering any questions with honest enthusiasm. The food was delicious! I ordered the Squawking Goat which was a fried chicken cutlet with goat cheese between a biscuit and sauced with a sweet jelly with a small kick! The orange juice was fresh squeezed and sweet indeed! To wrap it all up, because it was my first time in, they gave me a free dessert biscuit. I absolutely will be back and with more people next time 🙌🏾
It's gone down hill since they got bought out. The smashbrowns were more of dough balls and not smashed. Service is not personal anymore with callouts. Physical menus are all gone replaced by screens. All of their sweeteners are gone aside from off brand sweet n low. Biscuits taste microwaved and not fresh anymore. Would not eat here again. Prices are still the same though for poor quality food.
It’s been a while since we had Maple Street but it wasn’t as good as I remember. The biscuits today were hard around the edges with little to no flakiness. Also the sausage gravy was not thick with little sausage present. Coffee was great and so was the chicken. I hope this was just a hiccup because I do love this place and want to keep coming back.
Maddie the “manager” is rude. Ordered door dash and multiple items missing from our order. Fried green tomatoes are soggy and inedible. Food quality is inconsistent. I think Maddie is lying about being the manger. She hesitated when I asked her for her name.
