Such a perfect bookstore! It has so many genres to choose from and also features local authors who are occasionally at the store for events, which is super cool. They have other things too that are especially great for gifting, like book accessories and bookish apparel. Staff is always friendly, plus they’re helpful when you’re looking for a recommendation. It’s also such a cute spot to hang out for a little while, because they have cozy seating and a cool beverage selection. Totally recommend for both locals and tourists.
What a great bookstore!!! First, it's welcoming and has a great vibe. I love all of the sitting areas, the shelves of books and also packaged book gift ideas. This store is totally worth a visit. We love our small businesses in St Augustine
This place has been on my book-ut list and I was so excited to visit on a Friday afternoon. The store itself is so cute with a sweet photo spot and good selection of books. The local section was a bright spot. I prefer to buy local to support small businesses and drive community involvement though I most likely won’t be coming back. While the store itself was nice and had good selection, the staff was very involved with whatever gossip they had going on and barely greeted us. When I checked out, I felt like I was interrupting them. It was off putting. It was difficult to tell where the store is from the parking lot beside it as the store window has clothing displayed. Would recommend larger signage on the side of the store. Finally when we walked up to the store an employee was smoking right beside where we walk up. Despite my experience, I’m happy St. Augustine has another local bookstore and hope they are a success.
This is a beautiful bookstore.the ambiance and staff are phenomenal. I did my book signing event here and it was a blessed experience.
Very beautiful and unique book store! The cashier was kind and helpful and the overall store was very aesthetically pleasing. They have a great selection of books, clothes and other accessories. I am giving a lower review not because of the service or experience what so ever. I purchased a “blind date with a book” for about $30. It was a PAPERBACK book with a pen, bookmark, tea bag, and 3 stickers. I understand small business and of course the cost is expected to be higher but I would recommend displaying prices more clearly and making prices a little more reasonable. I would have gladly purchase multiple things that would have put my total price $60+ If I felt like I could get more for my money.
