I was in from out of town and chose this place based on other reviews. Happy I did! Iain was kind, professional and knowledgable. He introduced me to John Barnes’ myofascial release. It was something I didn’t know I needed and look forward to exploring the technique in my hometown. Would recommend!
I've been receiving body work from Alethea for years. She has helped me heal through a painful frozen shoulder, neck injuries and regular maintenance from long hours as an Artist. She is beyond a "massage therapist" I have been all over the world and for me she is honestly the best body worker I've ever experienced. If you need real deep intuitive body worker and healing. I'd say book today. I recommend her to everyone. Today I had my first session with Ian. I've had a pinched back for weeks. He was so thorough in assessing my issues and very intentional in which would be the best approach for my needs. This is the drastic difference between an average massage at a spa (which can be relaxing of course) and a healing session with a BODYWORKER, which is specifically customized to your specific needs for healing results. Their experience speaks for itself I can't say enough about Ian and Alethea! They are both amazing at what they do. I'm so grateful to have found them. They are truly gifted at their Art. The location is gorgeous also. So warm, welcoming and custom designed inside with Alethea's Art. Great energy all throughout. I've been visiting for years. It's been wonderful to see their studio evolve with all of the TLC and special touches they have put into it. Always a treat.
Had my first massage here. Alethea did such a fantastic job. She listened as I told her what my problem areas were and she focused on those. It's been a long time since I had such a fantastic massage. She was thorough and professional. Will Definitely be going back!
Iain was professional and knowledgeable. My first time going and he eliminated tightness in my lower back and shoulders, fascia work was different but very effective. When I’m back in town I’ll be going again!
Best massage I’ve ever had. As an older guy who is pretty active, I’ve been getting sports massages every few months for a few years. Moved to St. Augustine several months back and needed a new place. A neighbor recommended Alethea at Mindful Massage. I had no real expectations going into the hour session, but left feeling better than I’ve ever felt after a massage. 24-hours later I still feel great. Highly recommended.
