I scheduled an appointment on November 7 to be evaluated for tinnitus in both ears that began one to two months earlier. The earliest available appointment was January 6, which I accepted due to the holidays. On December 22, I was informed that my appointment had to be rescheduled due to an “emergency surgery” scheduled for that day. While I was willing to be flexible, the next available appointment offered was nearly a month later, extending my wait from approximately two months to nearly three months. What was particularly frustrating is that this “emergency” surgery was scheduled almost two weeks in advance, yet my appointment was moved back an entire month. This resulted in a significant delay to care without any consideration of my symptoms or ongoing health concerns. Overall, the situation was handled poorly and left me feeling deprioritized as a patient. I would have expected better communication and consideration. Luckily, I was able to get in somewhere else on January 7.
Terrible experience - both with Dr. and front office. He wore mask during entire visit resulting in unclear information. One of the women in front office would not relay a question I had for the doctor instead repeatedly gave her opinion. Rude and arrogant. Why put yourself through this kind of treatment when there are others out there that are kind, professional and knowledgeable in both aspects-doctor and staff.
Had a Septoplasty done. Still recovering but Dr. Aziz is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. Haven’t been able to breathe through my left nostril for over 15 years with my deviated septum. Dr. Aziz fixed it functionally and it looks much better.
Drove from Jacksonville, where I live, to Fernandina to see Doctor Aziz and get a second opinion about my sleep apnea and constant sinus issues. He gave me answers AND options. Very knowledgeable and kind man. Thank you for your professionalism and for your help!
Dr. Aziz is fantastic. I drive almost an hour, one way, from Jacksonville, passing several other ENT / Surgeons on the way to his clinic. Dr. Aziz is friendly, empathetic, and patient with you. Dr. Aziz is an excellent listener and spends as much time as necessary to ensure his patient’s are comfortable and all questions are answered. I also very much appreciate his willingness and efforts to stay current on therapeutic technologies, and techniques to remain at the top of his field. Finally, his entire support staff, RNs, MAs, and Admn team, are also incredibly friendly and helpful! So thankful to have been referred to this practice!
