Please read: ***** FIVE STARS ***** I’d give them 100 if I could. They really do help Veterans, I’ve Never even met John or James but they’re both angels, sent down from heaven! These guys are really helping Veterans they’ve never even met before! I’ve been in a tough spot now ever since getting out of the Air Force back in 2020, and I just can’t brag about this place enough. They have literally saved my life and I’m so grateful and thankful to have been connected with this place. Thank you, John and James!
Barnabas means son of encouragement. This is a faith based program with an assigned mentor and is designed to assist with getting you back on your feet in 90 days or less (vehicle, employment and possibly affordable housing). As they like to say “ it’s a hand up, not a hand out. ” It is not the right fit for every veteran or first responder. With my personal experience it is especially challenging for female veterans/ female first responders and especially difficult for anyone with an animal (service/ emotional dogs) or children. Finally and with all due respect Stay Suites in Orange park may trigger any personnel who suffers from PTSD.
Me and my fiancé we trying to get home and James was very helpful and helped us get home, we are thankful for him and the company for showing us love and compassion.
This organization has helped me and my family in the time of several crisis! Me and my family were outside and they came to our rescue with assistance with an extended stay until we are able to move into our apartment. Understanding individuals who listen.
