Great bike trail. You can park your car in the Armstrong Park next to this trail head.
Went 9/9/26 for a walk toward the west. It was flat and straight. Most of the 2 miles out was tree-covered. Some spots were a bit slippery. Quiet walk. Not much in the way of parking, though. I parked in the yet-to-be finished community center adjacent to the south. It was safe.
