5 stars. The Chirashi dinner was absolutely amazing. The fish was extremely fresh and the quality was noticeably superior as everything was tender, clean-tasting, and beautifully prepared. Some of the fattier pieces were incredibly buttery and practically melted in your mouth. The sushi rice was also perfect. It had just the right texture: soft and slightly sticky, but never mushy, with each grain still holding its shape. The seasoning was very balanced and complemented the fish perfectly. I’ve traveled down from New Jersey and have eaten at a lot of Japanese restaurants, and this is the best Japanese food I’ve had so far in North Florida. I will definitely be coming back.

Literally the last time I will ever ever ever eat in this place. It didn’t even want to go here today in the first place, but my other half insisting. The sashimi here is just the most boring lowest quality. The was wasabi was dry and old, had literally no spice to it whatsoever. The Yum Yum/shrimp sauce taste old bland flat. The bottle is itself the server left at the table at an old crusty thing in the nozzle. You couldn’t even get the sauce out .The salad with Ginger sauce was basically a soup. I was so underwhelmed with my lunch, but I decided to order something that I had to enjoy the last time I was there, which was there Hamachi something?, Basically it’s a roasted yellow tail collar. Waited about 20 minutes for it. It was fine. It was OK. On the menu, it’s an appetizer for $9.95. When I receive the bill, it says $13.95. I pointed out to the server and she directs me to look at a color piece of paper on their wall that has a “week special” which is that specific appetizer and the price is written over with sharpie marker from $9.95 to $13.95. This was just a cherry on my Sunday for a crappy lunch from a crappy restaurant that doesn’t tip their servers and their food quality is garbage. People in Green Cove need to stop hyping up this place. It is old washed out and we need a new sushi restaurant that actually has quality sushi and sashimi. Let’s just go grab a construction piece of paper from Dollar tree and change our purses with a marker.. My last review for this place was nine years ago. They probably should have closed 9 years ago.
Went on a date with my girlfriend, some of the food was genuinely good. Then other items are kinda bland or very much lacking flavor. But what’s making me leave such a low star review is the fact they charged a 18% gratuity automatically onto my bill and there were only two of us. I would have no problem saying it if I knew about it before ordering. If you don’t mind the 18% premium and honestly just ok food. This is the spot to go.
We had such a great experience at Pan Asian Cuisine Sushi Bar! Honestly some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. We ordered the Volcano Roll, seaweed salad, and spring rolls, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I live in Jacksonville Beach and come to Green Cove Springs often to visit family, and this will definitely be my number one spot every weekend I’m in town. Highly recommend!
Love this place! We came from California and missed our normal sushi spot. We tried a few places in the area and this place has been the best by far! We come atleast 2-3 times a month sometimes more because we crave it!
