Great experiences every time I have an appt.! Both Drs. Parker & Pennington and their entire staff very, obviously, care about their patients as people. My hygienist, Karen, is amazing. She never makes me feel bad if my teeth/gums could use more consistent flossing but she also gets all excited for me if my mouth has improved and is looking good. Karen never wants me to feel any discomfort and frequently asks me during cleanings if “this feels ok” or “I’m not hurting you at all am I?”. She is so gentle, I can, honestly say, that I have never experienced anything uncomfortable during a cleaning or X-rays. I have also had other procedures done over the years by both Dr. Parker and Dr. Pennington. They have both told me at different times that there is absolutely no reason a patient should ever feel any pain during a dental procedure. I can be a scaredy cat about dental work so that was important to me. And to their credit, I have never felt any pain during any procedure there. High quality dentistry by caring professionals — I highly recommend!!
A genuinely personal experience from the moment you walk in the door. Warm and personal team, beautiful spot in south Jax Beach, and all the latest gee-whiz dental equipment you could ask for. Both dentists and their assistants are super experienced, professional and friendly. If you don’t look forward to dental appointments (who does?), give Parker&Pennington a try for something completely different!
New to the area and had to find a new provider! This staff are inviting and knowledgeable and made me feel like I was family. They used new technology that I have never experienced before at previous dentist. They were able to show me potential issue areas that I never knew I had and feel I would have never known about them until it became one. We were able to start working on a plan towards resolving the issues so they don’t become a big issue down the road.
I just wanted to give a shout-out to the amazing team at Parker & Pennington Dentistry. The night before last, I started feeling like something wasn’t right in my lower jaw. I left a message after hours, and by 8:30 the next morning they had already called me back and had me in the office by 9:30. They quickly figured out what was likely going on, started me on an antibiotic, and had me scheduled with a specialist right away. That’s the kind of care that gives you real peace of mind when you’re in pain. Everyone there is consistently kind, professional, and genuinely cares about their patients. Over the years I’ve had extensive cosmetic dental work done, so I’ve spent more than my fair share of time in dental chairs. I know quality dentistry when I experience it, and Parker & Pennington are truly top-notch. Thank you to the entire team for taking such great care of me. Excellent dental care and very nice people. I am not a full time resident of Jacksonville yet and I didn’t have a local dentist, but a dental problem that occurred while I was here made it impossible to ignore. I got a referral from some family members who live here and go to Parker & Pennington so I went this morning. I felt like I was in very good care and I have another 2 appointments scheduled.
