A-mazing doughnuts! Delicious, and unique. The flavors are original and diverse. The breakfast tacos had two full eggs per taco, and were delicious. Coffees were high quality, and had multiple flavors including May's dulce de leches latte.
I recently moved down here from outside of Chicago and have never tried this place. My coworker brought some in one day and I tried it and was amazed with the Carnival donut (it tastes like an elephant ear from the fair up north), so I signed up for their rewards/promos. They sent me a $5 coupon to use as a courtesy for signing up, so I had to go back! I just went today and got the vanilla Carnival, Sandy Beach, and a free French Toast donut (it was national donut day!). I am not exaggerating in any way that these are the best donuts I have ever had, and they are a lot cheaper than what I expected. The donut is MASSIVE and so fresh. I honestly think the Sandy Beach donut is even better than the first one I tried. They didn’t have any left in the case when I got there, but the worker there offered to make me one! So sweet. The staff member that helped me, Zoe, is so helpful, welcoming, and very kind. This is a very clean business as well with super fast service. I will be buying these every time one of my friends comes in from out of town because these donuts are phenomenal. 1000000/10!!
Decadent delicious super flavorful donuts. My wife loves the strawberry shortcake doughnut. I love that one the honey glazed the blueberry - Basically every donut I’ve tried there I like. Staff is always friendly and service is prompt and considerate. In general the guests there are always friendly too - Maybe every one is in a good mood because they’re eating delicious donuts. I like pairing them with black coffee. The only downside is you really should only eat one. Eating more than one might be a problem. They are so decadent.
These donuts were SO soft and chewy and tasty. I would never miss a chance to visit here when visiting. Come early to get the best selection. We all loved them. So unique.
In general, when I think of donuts, I think “mediocrity.” Over the years when we go to a “good” donut place we say “nice, that’s a step up from DD”… Parlor Doughnuts just revolutionized my dessert psychology (in which that I take very seriously). The old me would say donuts are too heavy, fake, and artificially sugared up. Parlor is something special, something different. These donuts are not only very fresh (anyone can do that), but they are the perfect fluff, chew, flavor, texture, and everything in between. Like a snowflake, no two parlor donuts are the same. (Should I even call it a donut? Or should I call it an experience?) They are a small-batch-made-to-order experience that will not disappoint. Like a parlor donut, the hole in my heart has been filled. Thank you.
