This State Farm agency has been unbelievably negligent. Our vehicle was tied up in a claim for over six months, and not once did this office take any proactive steps to help us. State Farm’s recommended autobody shop performed work that destroyed our turbos, leaving our vehicle unusable for half a year — and this office still did nothing to escalate the issue or advocate for us. I called weekly. Perry never answered and avoided any direct communication. Never showed any interest in helping resolve the mess that State Farm created. We had to physically walk into the office multiple times just to get the smallest bit of attention. Another State Farm office even told us that Perry had mishandled the claim and was “extremely lazy,” which perfectly matches our experience. For the price State Farm charges, you would expect professionalism and support. Instead, this office showed zero effort, zero accountability, and zero customer care. This was a six‑month disaster entirely caused by State Farm’s own repair recommendation, and this agency still refused to help. I would never trust this office with another claim.
Perry Unwalla agency has grown a lot since its inception. As a result, phone lines may be jammed on Mondays and Fridays and staff may not always be able to respond quickly. A high turnover in the staff doesn't help. But through it all, a few things have stayed constant. Perry always responds promptly if contacted directly. Aritha, a very sweet and helpful lady, has been "forever" with Perry and always knows where to forward my questions. Jeanne Ryan, the office manager, is always available. She has helped me a lot in navigating the nuances of auto insurance policies, such as different levels of coverage and stacking vs non-stacking options. Jenne always discusses at length all the issues and follows up with detailed emails. Thank you Jenne, Aritha, and Perry for all your help! And thank you State Farm! I have been with State Farm for over 40 years. State Farm may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Other insurance companies may pay for only after-market parts if you have an accident. If you want genuine factory parts, go with State Farm.
I spoke with Jake Persinger about my home and auto policies. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I switched my home and auto coverage to State Farm, and I could not be happier about it. I got a great price on my auto insurance with the same coverage, and I got a great price on my homeowners with even better coverage than I currently carry. Jake is a great agent and I appreciate all the effort and care he provided to ensure I got the coverage that I needed.
Relocating from St Louis to St Augustine. Jake and Perry made the process of purchasing home and Medicare supplemental insurance fast and easy. Will purchase auto insurance from them soon. Personalized service in the insurance industry is hard to find today. I highly recommend Perry and his team.
