I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this venue. After spending approximately $1,500 (8Hours) on my baby shower 6/27, the event felt rushed and the customer service was poor. Wanda often appeared frustrated when I asked questions and made me feel uncomfortable seeking clarification throughout the planning process.One major concern was that a sign indicated the elevator was broken, which created difficulties for several elderly family members, including great-grandparents and a relative who uses a walker. We later learned the elevator was actually working, making this situation both misleading and a potential safety issue.I am also concerned by a pattern I have noticed through reviews and conversations with vendors and clients. Several African American clients and vendors have reported negative experiences and feeling that they were not treated with the same level of respect and professionalism as others.For the amount of money charged, I expected honesty, professionalism, and hospitality. Instead, I left feeling disappointed, disrespected, and concerned about the overall treatment my family and planner received. I am concerned about my refund. I seen comments that there are hidden details regarding refund . I reached out to coordinator on 7/8 @09:08am to seek guidance with no response .

The 'inclusive' weekend packages that initially drew me to this facility turned out to be exactly what ruined our reception. The contract states weekend packages include tables and chairs, yet one week before my event, I was told they weren't included in the 6-hour rate. This news surprised me because during the tour of the facility and speaking several times with the coordinator (Wanda), this was never mentioned. When I addressed the matter with the coordinator she pointed to a vague asterisk, the contract never explicitly stated this exclusion. I reluctantly paid the fee to ensure my wedding reception could proceed, but poor internal communication on the day of my reception resulted in the staff refusing to release the equipment until well after our contracted start time, claiming they had no record of payment. This significantly cut into our setup time. To top it off, a guest’s car was broken into on-site despite security being present. Management has been slow to provide a resolution. Very unprofessional.

I give this place a 1 start cuz first of our customer service was very disappointing and all the lady kept telling us is nothing in that building is guarantee and we had 12 hours to rehearse decorate get married and have a ceremony then turn around after that and have to clean everything up and her exact word was it is what it is. You get what you get which I felt was very unprofessional very disciplining.

The place is nice for a photo out side. definitely needs updates inside. AC only worked on one side of the room. We still enjoyed our event even if we where asked to NOT use the elevator to bring up food and dj equipment. Definitely over priced unless you live in the community. Fits 150, had access to the kitchen. Family has 2 more big events coming up bit have decided not to use this one again.
