R & R Crab House

To all my blue crab eaters ! I went to this place to get some crabs they wouldn’t allow me to see the crabs only buy them ! So I asked for a dozen in a half jumbo ! They charged about $100 ! When I get home to cook them this is what I see !! Not only is this not jumbo but all the crabs were empty ! I called them to express my disappointment they basically said no other customer had a problem but me !! This place is located right here in Jacksonville! I think it’s so sad that they take advantage of black people !! R & R Crab House At Arlington Rd . They didn’t offer a refund or even more crabs the first guy that answered the phone hung up in my face and I called back ! The second guy basically said oh well ! It is well I won’t miss $100 but it’s the principal that counts ! No professionalism or customer service !!

I was visiting Jacksonville from out of town and decided to relive my Duval County days. I decided to stop for some crabs! I did a Google search to find a place open on Sunday and came across the R&R crab house. I want sure how this would work, but it all came together quite nice. They had on display each type of crab/ shrimp/ seafood plate you could order. All you had to do was choose. They have a certain number of cooked plates already prepared for each day. But you have an option to warm the plate after you purchase it. The reason I rated the service a4 and not a5 was because of a drastic misquote in the price of a plate. One of the plates on display didn't have a price showing. When I pointed and asked how much, I was told 19.99. After ordering 3 of these plates for myself and family, the price was much more than I was expecting. $30 higher to be correct. The plates were artsy 29.99! It was for the crab combo. Now, it was everything I could have asked for and more, but I don't like surprises and wish I was given the correct price the first time. My family and I enjoyed every bite. I would highly recommend.

The food was amazing. The first cashier seemed like he could care less. The second joked and got everything we needed. Ge was younger. They sold us quality blue crabs. Everything tasted amazing. Oysters did not need anything to company them. Literally food was perfect.
