Ritz Theatre & Museum, Jacksonville

Cyrille Aimee Jazz concert at The Ritz theater was Soft and Soulful music. Also having the opportunity to see the Museum part of the Ritz theater was Awesome. I grew up in Downtown Jacksonville in the 60's and 70's and this brought back my past. The Ritz is truly our Historic Theater. All of Jacksonville need to come by and see The Ritz~ Just come and enjoy the entertainment they offer and the Museum will Wow you of our History.

Kailea did a great job of getting us scheduled for a private guided tour during our Family Reunion in Jacksonville. And my family loved it, as we experienced an amazing tour of the museum. Joyce did an excellent job of providing the African American history and knowledge of Jacksonville's LaVilla community. We learn about the important contributions James Weldon Johnson and his brother John Rosamond made in the communi ty. And they have some amazing exhibits, and friendly staff. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the Jacksonville area.

I had the opportunity to collaborate with Kailea in bringing to life a private Saturday tour for some of my friends and family. My experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Kailea was very helpful with answering my questions and assisting with making this possible. She hosted my group which was about 33 people very well. She came in early and dealt with technical difficulties with grace. We were able to have a scavenger hunt which made the museum engaging not only for the adults but also for the kids. This museum is definitely worth a visit. We didn’t have a guide but the insight, knowledge and expertise that Kailea brought was more than enough. Great experience overall! Thank you so much Kailea for bringing my vision to life. ☺️

This was my first time at the Ritz Theatre, and I absolutely loved it! I was invited to attend an Elevate event, and I was so impressed. The cause behind Elevate is truly worthy — it’s an amazing program, and I’m grateful I got to learn more about it. On top of that, just being in such a beautiful and historic theater made the experience even more special. Thank you for hosting such a meaningful and inspiring event!
