Rockler Woodworking and Hardware - Jacksonville

I recently purchased a laguna 14 twelve bandsaw and supermax 19-38 drum sander. Upon arrival, I was met by the store manager, Ryan. Although I had an idea what I wanted, I asked for his opinion. Ryan showed me each of the machines and was very knowledgeable tailoring the selections to the type of woodworking that I am doing. In addition, he did not forget the little things like accessories, replacement belts, and of course, a blade for the band saw, which I could have easily driven away without if he had not reminded me. Although a trip to Rockler is about an hour oneway, I will definitely be going back again for the knowledge, selection, and most importantly advice and guidance.

I took an acrylic pen turning class on April 24th, 2026. From the moment I entered the store, my experience was outstanding! My instructor, John, did everything to teach me how to make a beautiful acrylic pen from scratch. Not only did he teach me how to turn acrylic on a lathe, he taught me plenty of safety tips as well. Excellent Experience!

Took a Intro class there. Wow,what a great experience! John coverd everything from understanding wood and plywood to bandsaw to table/miter/track/band saws. Plenty of hands on time! Store staff were fantastic. Will be back to learn more!

I took John's Woodworking 101 & Shop Safety class this past weekend and it was everything I was looking for + super fun! John was thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, shared great stories, and gave us ample time to work with each tool. If you are interested in wood working and would like to try out different tools in a safe environment, I cannot recommend this class enough. Rockler at the Town Center, Jacksonville.
