Easily one of the best coffee and bakery spots in the Orange Park and Jacksonville area. Rummies Yummies Bakery & Coffee Bar is a local favorite that deserves way more attention. The space is bright, tropical, and spotless with big windows, colorful décor, and a clean, modern layout. It’s larger than most local cafés, with two cozy lounge areas featuring leather couches for groups and plenty of tables for relaxing, studying, or working using the free WiFi. Everything is made fresh in their full commercial kitchen, and you can taste the difference. Their signature rum cakes are incredible, available by the slice, full cake, or custom order. They also serve cheesecakes, cookies, milkshakes, sundaes, and boozy desserts. The coffee bar is top-tier with a modern espresso machine, nitro cold brew, and all the milk options including oat, almond, and coconut. The owner runs the shop herself along with several other employees, which keeps the quality and service consistently excellent. It’s the perfect blend of local charm and professional polish. If you’re anywhere near Orange Park or Jacksonville, this place is a must-visit for coffee and desserts.
I found this place online and wanted to check it out after an appointment I had in the area. I love Mom & Pop coffee shops and try to exclusively dine at them. If I have a good experience, I become a regular and share with everyone I know. It's important to me to support small businesses. After reading their reviews, I was really excited to try them. Google took to me the plaza where they were supposed to be located. I drove up and down the whole plaza and couldn't find them. I tried calling the number listed on Google thinking Maps just took me to the wrong area, but it went straight to voicemail. The plaza sign out front had their name on it though so I was completely confused. Finally I asked another store owner in the plaza and he said they had moved but he didn't know where. I understand this happens a lot with small businesses. But you really need to update Google with your new business address, otherwise you miss out on new customers and good reviews when this happens. Hopefully they will get everything updated and I can give them another shot.
Nice quiet coffee shop! Had a large selection of bakery items including many different cakes! They have fresh fruit smoothies, tropical refreshers and lots of caffeinated beverages and syrups to choose from! A good amount of seating, a couch, a tv, lots of parking! Friendly lady behind the counter! Would definitely come back!
Fabulous little coffee shop and bakery. We loved the sweet stuff. Lots of choices with fresh baked goods (baked daily) and plenty of options for different flavored coffees, vegan options can be special ordered & they offer several non dairy options for coffee creamery. Fast friendly service, what a great place! Thank you!
While visiting Florida from out of town, my 2 year old daughter and I stopped in for a cup of coffee and a bite to eat. The two women working there were unbelievably kind and welcoming. They gave my daughter a lathe, which was such a thoughtful gesture. There was also another young girl there, who I believe was their daughter or granddaughter, and she played with my daughter the entire time. She was so polite and sweet, and it made the visit even more enjoyable. The coffee was excellent and the chocolate chip pound cake was delicious. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
