Ordered a beer and the "Swamp Thing" for drinks, and the catfish/frog legs/gator appetizer and fries as well as the stuffed shrimp with potatoes and mac & cheese. The catfish/from legs/gator were perfect, & the fries were excellent. While the stuffed shrimp were wonderful, the sauce they come in should be bottled! Do yourself a favor and ask for some on the side. Drizzle the extra sauce on your mac & cheese and it hits all the marks! And as others have said.. the sunsets are worth waiting for.. beautiful.. (Also ask for Shanna, she is the best!)

Excellent experience, probably my favorite place to stop for dinner in St. Augustine! The views are amazing outside the restaurant and there was plenty free parking. We went in on a Sunday evening and there wasn’t a wait. We took a baby and they were very accommodating and friendly with her. We had the Oysters Dondanville (similar to Rockefeller), Coconut Shrimp with Mac&Cheese and Fries, and the Stuffer Shrimp with Hushpuppies & Cheesy Grits. We absolutely loved everything on our plates! I cannot wait to come back and sample more of their dishes.
Everything was incredible: the view, the food, the service. I was with a large group of friends, and every one of us was blown away with the outstanding taste & freshness! We ordered multiple appetizers& shared entrees so we could sample most of the menu. The gator tail was so soft, moist, and buttery, the fried green tomatoes & sauce were the best I've had, the cheese grits and Hush puppies are so good you'll wanna slap your mama, and the blackened Mahi, coconut shrimp, stuffed shrimp, and crab cakes are all InCrEdIbLe!!! There was not a single item served that disappointed. I will come here every time I visit! So glad a friend suggested it & made the trip happen! Don't skip dessert!
We were only in St. Augustine for a few days, and Salt Water Cowboys ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The food was absolutely outstanding. The fried gator tail with the citrus marmalade was unlike anything I've had before, the hush puppies were perfectly golden on the outside and soft, fluffy, and slightly sweet on the inside, and the blackened fish was some of the best seafood I've ever eaten. We also loved the collard greens, coconut shrimp, fried pickles, and battered mushrooms with a rich, creamy dipping sauce that was impossible to stop eating. What made the experience even better was our server. She was phenomenal from start to finish - warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited to help us have a great experience. She made excellent recommendations, checked on us just the right amount, and made us feel welcome the entire time. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants over the years, and it's rare that both the food and the service leave such a lasting impression. This was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. If you're visiting St. Augustine, do yourself a favor and eat here. If I could afford to I would travel from Canada back to here just for the food all the time. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town.
From start to finish everything was great! Plenty of parking, great views, friendly staff and the food was great! They have something for everyone on the menu, and the prices are affordable. The staff were friendly, quick, and accommodated over 15 of us quickly. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area.
