Had a recent follow up visit and I see Corinne Ryan, NP. My follow up with her was very thorough and compassionate. I've recently had a death in my family 2 months ago, my brother, and didn't really realize that my struggling with my emotions these past 2 months, that I am in a depression. Corinne helped me see that & offered me a treatment program called TMS. Years ago I had TMS with another provider for depression. It really really works and I'm happy to be starting TMS very soon again, once prior authorization goes through. Everybody from reception, to someone else getting my vitals, Corinne NP, to the technician doing my brain mapping, and finally the nurse giving me patient education on TMS, were courteous, helpful, and wonderful. Thank you
Really caring team. I was suffering with ADHD & OCD that was amplified with menopause. Received DNA testing to determine which treatments were effective for me. Within a few days I felt more at peace, in balance. The world seemed like a much happier place in a short period of time of treatment. I should have gotten care 5 years ago vs trying to power through it all on my own. Highly recommended
Unfortunately I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before coming here. I was afraid of trying medication for over 10 years and decided to build the courage and give it a try. When I first started due to my severe anxiety I was scared of the symptoms I was experiencing and expressed that so I was prescribed a different medication but I didn’t feel comfortable taking it and decided to stick with the medication we started on. Long story short the doctor did not seem pleased with the fact that I did this and on top of that because I declined trying TMS I was told to go to my PCP if all I want is medication. I felt like there was a lack of understanding and sympathy here. Also felt like all they care about is you doing TMS or Ketamine. So if you choose to come here just be aware that if you don’t do either of those treatments you will be told to not come back again.
I have only had positive experiences with Serenity Mental Health. The entire staff genuinely cares about your well being. Dr. Yam has understood my personal journey and has helped me every step of the way. I highly recommend for your own mental health needs.
I never thought finding a new doctor in a new state would be as easy as it was. From the first phone call from Serenity I felt like I was welcomed with open arms and listened to without judgment. When I made it to my first appointment everyone was so welcoming and caring and listened to me. I felt like a part of a family not just a patient. I’m really excited to get to know Patricia more and I really love how we have the same goal to get me off of medication.
