I have been going to Jen for hair work since 2023–and have been blown away every time. Jen helped me achieved my dream hair—a fashion color lavender—and helped to maintain it for years. She’s also helped me transform my hair to a variety of colors and moved seamlessly between warm and cool colors. She’s honest, to the point, and a great consulting stylist. She’s not afraid to be honest with you, and tell you if she can’t do something, and refer you to who can. I think that’s a true sign of someone who treats her clients as human beings instead of investments. She cares about the integrity of the hair and always does her best to make her clients feel loved, feel beautiful, and feel understood. Recently, I wanted to change my shaggy bob to a different color, going from a blonded bob to a more soda cherry color. She did wonderful and I’m so in love with it, I’ve already gotten compliments from so many people. Jen is an expert colorist and wonderful at doing highlights and lowlights, dimension is her strong suit as well as styling a shag. She knows her trade better than most that I’ve met, and she’s very accommodating. Her prices are commensurate with the skill she brings and she always does her best to be fair to her clients, too. I love seeing Jen as I know that I’ll walk away with higher confidence and feeling relaxed from a time where I can just drink a yummy drink, watch a cute tv show, and have great conversation. I really recommend her, despite her being in St. John’s versus GNV, I will always make the drive to get my hair done by her. Her work is more than worth it 🥹
Best of the Best! Jen Shear Love is not only an incredibly talented hair stylist, but also a true artist who understands hair. She gets really excited talking about the science and I honestly learned so much about my hair. It's obvious she keeps up with current education and trends. Jen cares about you and gets to know you. She helps you feel completely at ease like you've known her for a long time and hopefully you'll have the same experience as I did, as the is my sixth year with her styling my hair. She takes the time to understand exactly what you want and then delivers results that are even better than you imagined. Her skill, precision, and attention to detail are impeccable, and her energy makes the entire experience a good one. Whether it's color, cut, or styling, Jen consistently delivers flawless results every time. If you're looking for the best of the best, Jen Shear Love is it hands down. Highly recommend!
I had been going to the same stylist for over a decade so when she decided to step away from her chair, I was so lost. But, in came superhero Jen! From perfecting my blonde to helping me live out my cherry cola peekaboo dreams, I refuse to see anyone else now - such a sweet soul and really listened to everything I had in mind, not to mention she really took the time to understand my individual hair.
I had such an amazing experience today with Jen! She truly took her time and made sure every detail was perfect. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. She listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered even better than I imagined. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she also made the whole appointment feel relaxing and enjoyable. I left feeling so confident and refreshed. I can’t recommend Jen enough!
I can honestly say Jen is exceptional at what she does. She takes the time to really listen to what you want, offers great suggestions, and consistently delivers beautiful results One of the things I love most is the small, intimate salon—it’s calm, welcoming, and never feels rushed or overcrowded like larger places. I also really appreciate the hourly pricing. It feels transparent and fair, and you know you’re getting her full attention without feeling rushed.
