Shucker's Oyster Bar & Grill

This place has a nice setup with a balance of indoor sitting - tables and booths, and outdoor sitting under a roof + picnic tables with lovely colorful umbrellas. That’s a nice choice of sitting for every preference. The vibe is laid back. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite busy yet not packed. Despite being busy our server was attentive and pleasant. They had a local covers band playing outside, which was nice and lively without being obnoxiously loud. Now the food was somewhat disappointing. Looked great, but flavor and textures not so much. Not bad - just not great. Perhaps we had too high expectations, or they were having an off day. Obviously this is a popular spot so we might try it again another time.

This place is awesome at sunset. Great vibe, great atmosphere. They had a fella playing and singing. He was pretty good. Really enjoyed it. The drinks were great. The food was decent, not the best, not the worst. Probably a little above average, but didn't knock your socks off. Overall, I would come again just for the location and vibe alone. It was awesome. There is a playground for the kids and a ping pong table as well. They did a great job designing the outside area and the views are amazing.

This place is well situated with a beautiful setting. The view was great and the staff was even better. The food came out promptly and all of it tasted fantastic. I would highly reccomend to anyone looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. There's plenty of seating inside and on the patio connected to the back. There was a fireplace close to the waters edge and a small playground on the side. Bathrooms inside and out. The only negative was my vehicle was hit while I was inside eating and the guilty party left without a word. Which again the owners offered to review camera footage, but unfortunately we're angled away from where I was parked.

My family and I really enjoyed our dinner at Shucker’s last Sunday night. The place was very busy and a gracious hostess showed us right to a good table. Bennett, our server, took excellent care of us even though he was juggling multiple tables. The bucket of steamed oysters were very good though my wife preferred the mussels.
