I'm not sure how I missed doing a review sooner! We started seeing Dr. Downey and his staff just a couple days after my son was born in January of 2025. Everyone in the office has been so fantastic with my son and I love that Dr. Downey prioritizes quality visits over quantity of visits. You might be there a little longer than most other dr offices but it is because he spends the time doing a thorough evaluation of his patient and educates the parents about what is going on with their child, what to expect, things to look for, etc. He is so knowledgeable and approachable which means a lot knowing that your child's doctor is truly looking out for them and their best interest. They are quick to respond on the patient portal which is great for simple little questions. When we have been sick, they usually can get him in same day for a sick visit. A lot of times it's my own mama heart that needs reassuring my little one is ok (did I mention first time mom?) more than anything. And none of the staff have ever looked down on me or any of my concerns when it comes to my baby boy and his health. Thank you Dr. Downey and staff for all you do for the kiddos and parents!
Dr. Downey is truly the best physician I have ever encountered, and his staff is equally exceptional. I would not trust my baby with any other pediatric practice. Their compassion, expertise, and the sense of safety they provide are unmatched.
Dr. Downey is the best pediatrician I've ever met. He takes great care of my kids and able to see them quickly when they are sick. He is knowledgeable and takes his time answering all the questions and concerns. If you are in Clay County and searching for a pediatrician, you have found him.
Dr. Downey is the absolute best. It was honestly the best experience that I’ve had with a pediatrician. The office was very clean. The staff at this office were amazing as well, both ladies were smiling and very welcoming when you walk through the door and they were so sweet! Dr Downey was patient and very thorough during my newborns appointment. He takes his time and does not make you feel rushed through the visit and he happily answered any questions that I had, you can tell that he loves his job and truly cares. I highly recommend this office to everyone!
Dr. Downey and the whole staff are amazing. They truly care. Dr. D alwaysss takes his time to explain everything and anything to you so you understand. My son hates doctors but is great when coming here.
