St Marys Seafood & More(Baymeadows)

Gabby our server and bartender was very welcoming and personable. She was attentive is just the right amount. We came on a great night 2 for 1 drink special so we tried some holiday drinks ks the Rudolph old fashione with maple syrup and the Mistletoe margarita with cranberry and pomegranate. The old fashion was good and strong with cherries and orange segments. The margarita was refreshing a bit tart in a great way very good. We ordered the Mahi blacked platter with baked potato and creamed corn along with shrimp cocktail and fried green tomatoes. The shrimp was prepared very well and the cocktail sauce chilled and flavorful. The Mahi was fresh and delicious. All the apps and sides were good but wow that creamed corn was specially delicious with a hint of bacon. The atmosphere was lovely clean with holiday music. Nice salad bar and seating areas as well as a nice bar to sit and watch a game. After dinner we sat at the bar and chatted with the owner and other patrons. Overall a really lovely place highly recommend for the charm and sweet service. Everyone was very welcoming.

Come during happy hour. Their appetizers are 50% off. Including oysters. Their food is delicious and the bartender is awesome. The prices are great which is important when everything is so high in price. I'm visiting here because I have to go to the Mayo Clinic for a vocal cord issue I'm having. My first trip to Jacksonville was a few weeks ago. Being unfamiliar with the area, I wanted to go to a restaurant close to the hotel I was staying in. I'm staying at the Holiday Inn on Bay Meadows Dr. It's close to the Mayo clinic. St. Mary's is less than a mile from the hotel. This is my second time coming here and I will come to this restaurant every time I stay in that Holiday Inn. I met a customer who gave me a little history of this restaurant and why it's called St. Mary's. Apparently there's a town in Georgia just across the Florida border called St. Mary's. It's a fishing town. So all of their seafood is delivered fresh from that town everyday. They're are a few locations in this area. The customer recommends the boom boom shrimp but Apparently they can coat the shrimp in the Stinging Honey Garlic sauce as well.

We had the shrimp special and it was way more than I could eat, wife had the crab legs. Our server Jessica was great!! You need to keep her!

We came in from the Kansas City area and had no idea where to go for some good seafood. I ran across this place on Google Maps. Man, did this place not disappoint! My wife and I both got a special of 3 filets of Mahi Mahi and shrimp. Let me tell you…. Nothing short of awesome! Gina was the best and led us right and was very attentive! We shared a piece of Key Lime pie to finish us off. WE WILL BE BACK!
