I had the pleasure of performing at a wedding welcome party at Summer House Venue Collection in downtown Fernandina, FL this past Friday, and I can't say enough good things about the experience! Elizabeth Ambrose, the Venue Coordinator, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was friendly, accommodating, and made everything easy from start to finish. The entire event went seamlessly, the venue looked fantastic, and everyone had a great time! As a musician who performs at a lot of events, I really appreciate working with people who make the experience enjoyable for everyone involved. Elizabeth and the team at Summer House did just that. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a special event!
Summer House exceeded every expectation for my 65th birthday celebration, which turned out to be a surprise wedding. From the first planning conversation through the event itself, everything Elizabeth and her team promised was delivered exactly as described, with no gaps between expectation and execution. What stood out most was how much weight they took off our shoulders. Catering, flowers, and cake delivery were all coordinated seamlessly by the venue, which meant we could focus on the people in the room rather than logistics. That kind of follow-through is rare, and it made the entire weekend feel effortless on our end even though a great deal was happening behind the scenes. Elizabeth’s attention to detail and her team’s professionalism were evident throughout. I would recommend Summer House without reservation to anyone planning a milestone event in Fernandina Beach. Elizabeth and her team were amazing to work with. We hosted my daughter's wedding welcome party at Summer House. The venue is so flexible as far as set up, they are helpful in preparation and clean up. Our guests could not say enough wonderful things about the venue and their experience that evening.
Gorgeous venue. Versatile space. Marche Cotier provided a great spread on the sidebar. Have used Summer House for meetings in the past, first time hosting an event. Team was flawless to work with.
We had our wedding reception at Summer House this past weekend and truly was an unforgettable experience. Elizabeth has been so helpful and professional from the start of planning 9 months ago and worked closely with my planner to make our vision come to life. Cannot recommend this venue, Elizabeth, or her team enough! Thank you for the BEST NIGHT EVER!!!
