Sushiya

Not vegan friendly. Too busy to make fried rice with no egg for my grandchildren. Udon noodles were in a puddle of oil. Ordered an appetizer but it came with other food. They put 5 of us at a small table for 4. I had to drag another table over after they shoved plates at us where there was no room. Food was ok but but greasy.

I have been going to this restaurant since I moved to Jacksonville over 20 years ago, and the food has always been excellent. Unfortunately, my experience with the owner's wife has consistently been disappointing. She is often rude and unfriendly toward customers. On a recent visit, even my 10-year-old granddaughter noticed her behavior and commented, "That lady is not nice." It is unfortunate because the quality of the food is outstanding, but customer service is also an important part of the dining experience.

Had dinner there the other night and the staff sat there and ate their own dinner while we were waiting to order for over 10 minutes. Food was okay but just not a friendly atmosphere from the staff. Interior of the restaurant is old and tired and needs refreshed.
