Situated in a beautiful neighborhood, I thought I'd check this place out for lunch today. Parking was plentiful for a Sunday at noon. If you do happen to visit during this timeframe, just be mindful that it utilizes the more limited brunch menu. More on that in a bit. Staff greeted me upon entering the building and said I could sit anywhere. Seeing as I was alone today, I elected to sit at the bar for some faster service. The bartender seemed to favor the regulars there and it was about 10 minutes before I received a menu despite not being all that busy. Eventually I was able to put in my order for a draft beer and a Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich. Surprisingly, the sandwich doesn't include a side of any kind at the price point of $15 even though handhelds and burgers on the regular menu do include sides. I inquired about purchasing fries, but was told that they were unavailable for the brunch period. There wasn't much else available that wasn't more of a breakfast food aside from hummus or tapas. The sandwich came out in a reasonable amount of time from when it was ordered. While tasty with a combination of sweet, salty, and savory from the ham, chicken, and swiss, I thought it could have been better given the price. The value was just not there without a side. I'd consider coming back for their normal menu period, but don't think I'd return for brunch.
The food here is always great. I especially love to find out what specials they bring out when I come over to eat. I will say though, be careful when bringing your kids here. Earlier today I overheard several customers at the bar talking about some things that really shouldn't be uttered in public, especially at a loud tone. The staff didn't do anything about it until after I left the building after getting our check. The place is overall great, but not really well managed for a family-friendly environment.
Great customer service and food portion. The bar makes delicious drinks also. I also had fun at one of their paid events with a live band and dancing.
This place is awesome! The staff is amazing and really does care about your experience within this restaurant. For example, I got overheated playing golf and they let me hangout in one of the booths until I felt better while getting me Gatorade/etc. The food is also very good, I had the club sandwich and the Cobb salad. Very good!
Talons hosted a rehearsal dinner for my family and did a wonderful job. The venue was perfect for our group of 50 people, and many spent time outdoors before and after the dinner taking photos etc. The food was delicious and in large portions--I heard people loved their filet mignon. Vanessa and her staff were very responsive and the service that evening was exceptional. We had our own private bar as part of the event--great service-- which the guests enjoyed as well. Highly recommended for an important large gathering where great food, venue, and service all come together to produce a memorable event.
